As the MD of Comsal, I have no hesitation in saying that Comsal is first and foremost about people. It's about taking care of the people who work for the company and it's about making the people who we work for happy.

When my wife Gayle and I decided to relocate from Trinidad and Tobago to Cheltenham we decided to remain in the same field of business which we were accustomed to - design, build, maintain, repair - both in the commercial and residential sectors. And while we had to adjust to different building codes (taking into consideration climate variation) we ensured that our strict code of quality control was maintained whether it be for a new build, a relocation a refurbishment or a simple repair job.

During the first four years of our business in Cheltenham we were focussed mainly on design and build however with the downturn in the real estate market from 2008 we decided to utilize our resources to increase the level of activity in our property maintenance and the odd job divisions. And so, you can be assured that even when it comes to the smallest of odd jobs or repair we will do all that is practical to make the client happy.

Our clients range from the Territorial Army and Cheltenham Ladies College to Mrs Smith who simply needed a bit of joinery work done - cost: £75. And as Mrs Smith will tell you, we were as proud of that job as any other.
